In the fertile agricultural region of Manduria, in a district known as "Monache-Paduli" which has always been culturally integrated into the Salento area, are the vineyards of the Nigro family.
As an important economic center of the province of Taranto, the territory of Manduria has always been famous for its Primitivo wines. This is the less touristy part of Salento, interspersed with beautiful unspoiled beaches that remain unvisited by many, with evocative artsy cities.

Here, our old bush-grown vineyards - the oldest ones planted in 1920 and still producing a wonderfully sweet, natural Primitivo - and newer vineyards, Trained by Guyot , overlooking the view as it slopes down from the surrounding hills. the Ionian Sea and its nature reserves.
The proximity of our vineyards to the sea is beneficial and special, giving our wines the rich aromas, subtlety and surprisingly complex aromas that make them truly unique.
